Griffin has his first day back to school!

Aggggghhhhhh! My little guy Rory is going to miss his big brother.

Freebie Sentiment set

I made this sentiment set a while back for some cards I was making.

I hope you can use it , This set is my first attempt to make sentiments like this...

Normally I just find someones Else's freebies

but I couldn't find what I was looking for so made my own.D

just click on the image & right click on it to enlarge and copy.

This will fit on your 8.5 x 11 Standard paper for the printer. I would double check with a print preview just to make sure it is correct before I printed it out but it fits mine perfect. and I have made it so you cut it in half and then you cut each sentiment out separately...( at lease this is how I did I anyway)

Robot Birthday card

Hello!

Happy Saturday...

Today's I am Sharing a Birthday card made

with the Roboto image by Tiddly Ink

( just click on the link to get to the Tiddly Ink store)

this is only 2.00 !

Such a cute image sure to be used many many times.

I can just imagine adding a bow or a butterfly to the robot

& TaDa its a girl robot!

I used some grey card stock & some turquoise scrap card stock

hehehe... yup some of that pile of paper from Walmart once again...

I will make my way through it if it kills me!

I used the blender pen and made the surrounding outline blurred,

added white gel pen highlights to the robot ( they are a bit harder to see in the photo)

The Nuts and Bolts are from the Sara Paris Style robot stamp set..

It's a super cute set with a few cute extras.

The Circle Happy Birthday is by DDDivas ( sorry no link as it was a freebie during a challenge)

I used my new circle cutter to cut the whole image out

(2.00 at a garage sale, I love when I find something scrap worthy at one!).

I like it, very clean and simple card for a guy..

Which as we all know Guys can be super hard to make cards for.

I think the guy ( or Boy ) who receives this card will like it.

Pretty Pretty Princess card

Last weekend was CHA and I was busy around the house trying to get stuff done before I left. So I didn't get as much done as I would have liked but

I managed to make a few cards but never got to take pictures till today...(Yikes)

( I will make a separate post about CHA and all my goodies,

It was alot of fun and now I know what to do so I won't miss out on a thing! )

I made this Pretty Pretty Princess card, I was going for a bit more Clean and simple style but still have the pretties... I think it came out pretty good.

I had been looking for a sentiment to go with it but couldn't find anything I felt fit the card.

I made one but then decided not to use it.. LOL Ok I forgot to add it in my haste to finish the card ... but I don't really miss it to much.. and this way I can add something later for the correct occasion.

Please don't mind my rough edges ... the blade is shot on my trimmer and I needed to get a new one.. but had been putting it off.. then Rory the little guy Shoved it off the table and broke on of the sides then did it again and broke the other side...so now it is really broken.. Blah.. =D at least now I really NEED it! LOL..

I added some pretty roses in various sizes and some Jewels in various sizes to one side of the card and of course added lots of stickles to the dress, crown, and scepter.. I colored with Prisma markers and copics, and the paper is various scrap... ( but I know it was all bought some time ago at Walmart)

Do you ever feel like you have to get throught the old paper you bought before you can get to the new stuff? ... LOL I do and I swear I bought a huge stack of papttern paper and I am never going to get through it. its just so much.. I use it all the time though.. so maybe one day.. =P

Here is my Card... Hope you like it!

I distressed edges slightly with charcoal ink &

distressed the orange cardstock with the Tim Holtz tool.

I used my copics to color the stamped image

and then to get the mottled sky I used a blender pen and

dotted the area I wanted to be softened.

This is a very forgiving technique that anyone can do.

An Apple a day...

When I saw this image at the Cherie Reve Store at Mygrafico.com

I thought this little guy was super cute and

that he is brushing his teeth is super funny to me ...

Because my little guy Rory is a teeth brushing maniac right now...

anyone goes into the bathroom they need to be prepared for him to try to climb the cabinets trying to get to his tooth brush as he says teeth over and over again... so cute and a great habit..

( who doesn't like freshly brushed teeth!) =D

Anyway... I digress...

the Stamp name is Little Boy who loves to brush his teeth which you can find HERE .

LOL...

(Sorry not the best Photo.. my camera was about to die.)

I loved the little apples on his PJ's, so I used the apple punch to give the card a bit of quirky fun.

of course that color green is my fave so anytime I can use it in a card I am happy ...

Mygrafico Challenge #59

The weeks Challenge is all about the Glitz ...

Glitz it Up!

Well I made a few things... =P

First My Glitzy Card

Colored in with Copic & Prisma Markers, Misc Scrap papers( one of which is a metallic Pearl pink) , and a Sentiment from TLC Creations.

Used stickles on the hair bows and the slippers... used lots of rhinestones, and even some metallic rainbow pastel colored rick rack....

Next I made a totally different card... ( not glitz at all but still wanted to share)

Colored with my copic markers, Found the sentiment at TLC Creations & Knew that this popcorn bowl Stamp would work well with it.

Made some movie tickets... used the Cornice Edge punch by Martha Stewart and misc scrap paper

Monster Cut file freebie!

Hello my fellow Lovers of Monsters Big and Small...

I teamed up with Daphadilly Art for this little cutie... ( I added the flowers but the rest is her design)
So you can make either a boy monster or a girl monster =D

She is a digital Scrapbook designer and sells her kits at a few stores one of which is Digi Scrap Drive In

You can find the set I used to make these here for digital scrapbooking.. it's called .. Tickle Monster .

... Of course this is an exclusive freebie from me ... I am the only one allowed to make cut files from her sets due to the fact that she is my super talented Little sister! =D

Oh and on a side note... LOL I glued the mouth backwards so it's supposed to be the opposite way I inadvertently glued the black part to the pink on the wrong side ..Grrrrr but at least you can see how it will look like.

I made this Digital LO for a Digi Scrp Drive In Drag Race my Sister ran last Friday night
