Christmas Card Challenge Photos

OK... I admit it I didn't get as much as I wanted done tonight but I did finish a few things. Check these photos out of a few of my finished creations.
My batteries died on my camera so more to come tomorrow...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Snowflake Ornament
I Used Martha Stewart Mica Glitter and regular quick dry glue and heat embossed it so it would stick really well. I also heat embossed the smaller snowflake with regular iridescent embossing powder after I used Stampin' Up ink ( Tempting turquoise) to give it some color.
This is so pretty in person and was so fun to make even if it was super messy!
Here is one of my many Cocoa Pockets.
A Swiss Miss Cocoa packet with marshmallows fits inside.
I made 2 pockets with one 8.5" x 11"piece of card stock so quite cost effective.
I Dry Embossed, Stamped, Punched, Heat Embossed, Made Cricut die cuts to make these...
I am going to add a Ribbon so I can tie it shut at the top (that's my after thought) =D
I Heat Embossed Martha Stewart Mica Glitter to the Cricut Die cut to add texture.
I am making these for all of Griffin's Teacher's, the Bus Drivers and Therapist & This specific Cocoa Pocket is for Griffin's Teacher Ms. Love & On the back I made a little name tag so I could distribute them to the right person.
I really like how these turned out enough effort put in them that the person reciving them should appreciate it.
Anyway I have more to share but they will have to wait till tomorrow.
I will leave you with this...
These are the 2 pieces of paper I decide to use to make my cards & some of the many stamps I had to choose from.
Thanks for stopping bye and come back to see the final results! You may be surprised.
A Child's Year
What a great cartridge this is I know if you have it you will agree!
I just got it on BF and this was my first time working with it and I loved it.
Here are some of the cuts I have been working on for this Friday's Christmas Card Challenge.
I just have to say this is now one of my Favorite Cartridges.
What cute Classic Cuts ! I am really digging the silhouettes.
It has some really great card designs.
I didn't cut out the dog ones (yet) but they were so adorable!
I can see myself reaching for this cartridge over and over again.
It just has so much to offer.
I have more to cut from Winter Woodland & Joys of the Season. I will post some of those cuts as well when I am done.
Anyway I will see you back here soon I am so excited for tomorrow... Now I just need to finish getting everything ready for my card making extravaganza!
Christmas Card Challenge
I challenged myself when I made my Thanksgiving cards this year to use a minimum of supplies. I think that for the 2 sheets of paper that I used I made some pretty nice cards. It really made me think differently about what I was doing and what supplies I was using.
Paper crafting can be an expensive hobby with all the embellishments, toys and gadgets that are must haves nowadays. You can find the cards & more info by clicking on link Thanksgiving cards from the older post.
So anyway I thought I would try to challenge myself again and invite you all to join me! Next Friday night ( December 11 , 8 - 12 pm Central US time ) I will be busy making and sharing the cards as I make them.
Wish me luck!
Cards, Cards, and More Cards!
I have been busy making cards for the Design Team at Scrapbooking and Crafting Friends . They are sponsored by MyGraficO a really great company that sells digital stamps, scrapbook, & embroidery kits. I love them and have been able to use them in a variety of ways. They are so easy to use to, I can't believe I didn't start using them sooner!
These are my first cards using the Sizzix Texture Boutique Embossing machine ( It looks like a cute purse! ). I bought it at M's on Thanksgiving and immediately started to play. It really makes your cards look fabulous! I can't wait to get more folders... maybe I will make some on the Cricut! I have wanted to try that out for some time...
