MyGraficO Challenge # 37

 Hello Again!
This week the fantastic folks over at Mygrafico.com have given us another great set to work with.
HoHoHo & a bottle of Rum stamps by the wonderful designer Black Leaf .
We also had to use Chhipboard somewhere in or project .
My Youngest Son just had his 1st birthday party in a Pirate theme so I will
be able to use these for lots of fun Layouts and so much more.
Thanks fo stopping by to see how I've done for this weeks challenge
=D

I made a 12 x 12 LO Page

I have a few more things to do like ...
Add a picture... and some journal info...and add a little bit more embellishment...
but it is pretty much done.
Of course I still need to make a matching page .

As you can see that I used my cuttlebug folders for some texture.
I used my prismas to color in the Parrot

I used chipboard on my island... then popped dotted it .

sorry for the sideways picture , I turned it before I uploaded it but it seems to not relise that...lol...
anyway...
hope you all like the LO
its a real simple one at the moment of course...
I will be adding more to it but for now
Tada!

Sassy Cheryl Fishing mishap card

Hello Again!
MyGraficO has some really talented designers
 &
Sassy Cheryl is one of the newer ones.
Her designs are really beautiful ... so go check her out.

I used the Fishing Mishap digital image. When I saw the image I thought of frogs, so I punched a few from a foam sheet. The green scraps from my last project were perfect for lily pads for them to sit on. I used the cuttlebug folder mesh to make them look real. I used my prisma markers to color in the image. I used silver stickles on the hook & other metal parts of the fishing  pole. I also used several blue stickles for the water.
I used the EK boarder punche swiss cheese to make the cute "bubbles" along the edges and misc papers.
overall its a pretty simple card  with alot of work in the details... ; )

A day late due to my new pc not having everything installed so I could upload my new creations...

for this Mygrafico challenge the team was asked to create something with the colors
 Pink, Olive Green, & Brown

I have to say this was a bit of a challenge for me at first
I just couldn't find any Olive Green or Brown paper in my stash.
I guess that means I need to get more stuff! =D
I did eventually find some pieces from a scrap pack I bought a while ago.

Front View of the card
Here you can see the dog house which I attached to the left side of the cards opening

The base of the card was cut and colored to look like dog eared wood fencing

An upclose view of the card front.

Here you can see the card opened , Left a spot for journaling a quick note on the left

up close you can see I cut out 2 dog bones to hold the gift card & lined the inside of the card for stability and to cover the marker mess...

I do have one thing not added that I will photgraph in the morning
