Today's Challenge is all about Embossing.

I love embossing, don't you ?

Earlier this year I went a little nuts (OK OK I went a bit OCD) & bought a bunch of the embossing folders

& a cuttlebug... & a Martha Stewart Heat tool & a bunch of the embossing powders..=D

How fun! I make lots of messes but what can I say at least I'm creative!

Now it's your turn to get Creative!

 I have a bunch of projects in the works but for today a super cute card

Featuring

Primsy Doodles

Princess Frog Stamp

 I had a fun time making this Card,

First I love FROGs

Second ..It has my all time fav colors in it..

Well it is missing  the Turquoise Blue..

But the Green and pink are there! so we are good .

 =D

I just love this little frog...

I colored all the green with my Prisma markers and then used my copics for the rest.

I added a few bits of bling to the top and bottom corners to help add what I was perceiving as a bit boring card.. hahaha.. I just can't not add bling or stickles! it's a sickness I tell ya!

Popped this guy up  for a bit of dimension

I layered several different cardstock colors for the mats  

 then used a lovely Green Patterned Paper as my  background.

I whipped up the sentiment on my computer to fit the card &

used some "trash" from a corner punched from the 3 dot scallop Martha Stewart as my corner frame pieces.

I used a little bit of stickles on them to give them a bit more pizazz . and on some highlights on my frog.

and Sentiment by Stampin' Up! Soft & Sweet set

Pearls pearls pearls.... I love pearls... =D 

I added a strip of pearls to the ribbon on the side

then to the corners to soften and the clothes pins are "pearl" .

Liquid Pearls, Stickles, Lace and the 3 layered Paper piecing... white pink and green.

Close up side view... I made  a popped up layer

& then added the lace between.

Flower Fairy Card

Today I made a super cute card with the

Flower Fairy Stamp

I also used a Striped paper from the Soothing paper set

by Dotted Daisy Designs

I just changed the color to Purple and printed ...=D

I love that about digital paper.

 For the rest of the paper I got it in a large stack when I first started scrapbooking

I am trying to use it because OMG there is so much of it!

 I normally use solid papers so I really need to mix it up more often.

I love how it turned out... 3 different papers & white as my base.

I used the Martha Stewart Scallop 3 dot punch set &

 then topped that with some pretty lace along the side.

I made this "flower" with some 1.5 inch ribbon doubled over and inked the edges

after sewing the center and gathering into what looks like a flower to me ...

Added a cute butterfly button to top it off.

This is a Inkadinkado clear stamp single I got from a stamp swap a while ago...

 Love it soooo cute!

I added some stickles ( of course) to make my little fairy shine,

 added a dot of white gel pen to her eyes &

 used copics for all the coloring except for the green

( I still have no green copics,  Ack!)

I just loved this stamp

 &

MyGrafico Challenge # 55

Hi Everyone!

I had such a hard time yesterday getting my post up so I gave up.

My Apologies to you all.

Challenge #55  is all about being Patriotic with the 4th of July coming up soon.

Today's Challenge was to make a 4th of July Project with Lindsay's Stamp Stuff Patriotic Set

The Style of these stamps is really cute & very primitive country looking... 

 I have used this set before & will definitely use in the future.

The value is great since it comes with Digital Papers, Quotes, stamps are Photo corners, Frame, buttons and other embellishes... lots of goodness in there.

=D

 Here is what I came up with for the Challenge.

Today is also a big day for the Design Team ...

Today is the last day for the current team & I will miss the whole team very much.

 I have loved working with all the talented designers & have learned so much  from them all.

A little bit distracted...

Hello everyone!

Let me just  start off with a big ol' I'm sorry...

 I have been so distracted  by so many things this week & last

 that I have not been doing what I needed to.

I'm sure you all understand that sometimes life gets in the way.

 I will be sharing pictures of all the fun and festivities of

 Griffin's 4th birthday party ( with just us) and

of the one on Saturday with more of the extended family.

Did i mention yet that Great Grandma came up for Griffin's Birthday this year!  I am so happy she was able to make it up she is such a busy lady.

anyway...

 I finished all the Spongebob paper piecing &

OMG ...

 that was a lot of paper ...LOL

 I love how each character turned out! I did mess up on a few things ...

but it wasn't a huge issue..

 OK well Patrick has no pants on ...

 but the purple flowers are strategically placed I swear.

a few thoughts after this week...

Ice cream cake is the absolute best for Summer Birthday's

Bikini Bottom  never looked as good as it does in my dining room ...

and Rory can spot Spongbob from a mile away... then yells SpongeBob SpongeBob till we agree...

I sometimes wonder how much longer I can stand to not be near my family... 

I miss them so much especially my Sister who is SUPER COOL  &

who Griffin Shares his Birthday with.

I love ya SIS! Your the Best Sister I could ever ask for.

Also deal alert.... Walmart is marking down the scrapbooking section

 ( actually the entire crafts area was marked down )

& I of course have been  going every week to check out the deals.

Today I bought  the Cricut storybook cartridge for 23.00! 

I know  I can't believe it either...

 they had Tinkerbell, cars, and a few other carts marked that low too!

So if I were you I would run over to my local walmart &

 see if they have any left I know these will go fast!

As for this weeks Challenge with Fathers Day just around the corner

we worked with some super cute Fathers Day stamps by Kelly Medina

that can work for alot Guy related themes not just Fathers day.

I came up with this ...

First I colored the image with copic markers, then took a white pen and did some higlights.

I used a large paint chip for the background ran it through the cuttlebug

with the Stars embossing folder, then sanded it to show the stars off.

I then added some ribbon popped the Tie & sentiment off the card.

A simple but very masculine Fathers Day card.

MyGrafico Design Team Call

I broke down... & more

I Finally broke down and I bought a CINCH binding machine...

I have wanted something like that for about 2 years

 but I have made do without it.

 My SIL has a BIA and I knew she would let me use hers

but...

When I heard about the CINCH a while back I knew I would have to buy it.

it was on sale at OMC ( ohmycrafts.com )  used a 20% off coupon ...

Now I will be able to bind albums better

  than I did previously with the O-Rings.

I have also been getting lots of inspiration from Kathy

(AKA)  Paperphenomenon.blogspot.com  & on the cricut Message boards Paperphenomenon.

She won the Cropping with the Stars on cricut.com , her project was so awesome...

She has the best U-Stream classes ...

I have seen all of her classes (except for the very first one)

 & I was super sad because I missed it.

 If you haven't seen her stuff yet you have to check it out...

 you will love it !

I also wanted to share a little something..

I made these in the MTC ( Make the Cut software)

which I so love... this was from a coloring page ( how cool is that right?)

I am working on making a St. Louis Blues  Hockey album

of us at different games and the Peoria Riverman games...

and

I am still making Griffin's Birthday  party stuff

The SpongeBob cricut cart is getting alot of use

I also bought a bunch of SpongeBob party stuff so we will be all

SpongeBob'd out for this party.

 I hope to be able to share some stuff soon but

nothing is ready and I have really only cut a tiny bit

of what I need to so stay tuned for all of that!

I don't have much time left! Ack!

& My SIL the Super Cool Aunt Jen is making

the cake with her Cricut cake machine so

she needs the SpongeBob cart soon! aghhhhh
