Cricut Design Studio Word/Shape Book
Last night I started to work on a word/shape book in the Cricut Design Studio Program.
I really love it because its pretty easy to use and I can make some fantastic things...
I would love to get the SCAL program and a drawing tablet so I could design my own stuff eventually but for now this is great.
Anyway here is a screenshot of the album I am working on ... mind you some things pictured ( like the waves) will go on one of the pages and not where it is pictured... this is a few of the layers that I didn't uncheck when I did my preview.
Anywho...
I am going to cut this out to see what it looks like and if I need to make some adjustments to it. Hopefully I will post some pictures of what I end up with soon!
Cartridge Details:
A Childs Year, Everyday Paper Dolls, Plantin School Book
Everyday paper Dolls ( Cricut )
The Paper Dolls Dress up Cartridge is one of My favorite Cartridges.
It really has so many extras that you would never know were there until you opened the box... or had the Design Studio Program ( trial or actual) . I recently Bought the Everyday paper dolls and it has somethng for everyone on it as well.
Anyway ...
I made this set of Paper Dolls for Griffin's class bulletin board when he was the Star of the week.
I cut everything out in white cardstock and colored in with the Prisma markers drew the faces in myself. I used chalks to color in the eyes and to give the cheeks a bit of a glow.
The comic book style word bubbles with our names in them are Stampin' Up.
Thanks for looking !

Christmas Card Challenge Photos
OK... I admit it I didn't get as much as I wanted done tonight but I did finish a few things. Check these photos out of a few of my finished creations.
My batteries died on my camera so more to come tomorrow...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Snowflake Ornament
I Used Martha Stewart Mica Glitter and regular quick dry glue and heat embossed it so it would stick really well. I also heat embossed the smaller snowflake with regular iridescent embossing powder after I used Stampin' Up ink ( Tempting turquoise) to give it some color.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Here is one of my many Cocoa Pockets.
A Swiss Miss Cocoa packet with marshmallows fits inside.
I made 2 pockets with one 8.5" x 11"piece of card stock so quite cost effective.
I Dry Embossed, Stamped, Punched, Heat Embossed, Made Cricut die cuts to make these...
I am going to add a Ribbon so I can tie it shut at the top (that's my after thought) =D
I really like how these turned out enough effort put in them that the person reciving them should appreciate it.
Anyway I have more to share but they will have to wait till tomorrow.
I will leave you with this...
These are the 2 pieces of paper I decide to use to make my cards & some of the many stamps I had to choose from.
Thanks for stopping bye and come back to see the final results! You may be surprised.

A Childs Year Cricut Cartridge...
A Child's Year
What a great cartridge this is I know if you have it you will agree!
I just got it on BF and this was my first time working with it and I loved it.
I just have to say this is now one of my Favorite Cartridges.
What cute Classic Cuts ! I am really digging the silhouettes.
I didn't cut out the dog ones (yet) but they were so adorable!
It just has so much to offer.
I have more to cut from Winter Woodland & Joys of the Season. I will post some of those cuts as well when I am done.
Anyway I will see you back here soon I am so excited for tomorrow... Now I just need to finish getting everything ready for my card making extravaganza!
H is for ...
... Hippo!
Look what I found at My Local Michael's store on Thanksgiving! I forgot to share it in my excitement over the New Black Cricut. As soon as I saw it and fell in love & I thought it would be prefect for a few things I have been working on.
