So this week at Digi's with Attitude! we released the Mermaid Tween which I so totally  love. I just had to make a project for my Little niece who is a little mermaid in her own right ;D 
My sister (The little mermaid's Mommy) has done her room up  in  mermaids
& last year I made a cute frame for her... I have worked on another album since (still not completed) & Now this! It is going to be a counting / number book! =D I  might even laminate it to make it live longer.

It looks alot better in  person  but I couldn't get a good  picture of the sheen of the papers... they are that  peralized looking paper and looks really neat, it's not completed yet but I love the cover so far...

I am going to add a title (still working on one Any Suggestions) 

 & adding  more stickles to the diecuts... Oh !

I will also be adding more ribbons and such to the  rings...

  the diecuts are from  the Cricut cartridge Spongebob Squarepants
( bubbles, seaweed, jellyfish)

I colored my mermaid with  copic & prisma markers
the added stickles.

I also added some pretty  jewles to the sea weed! LOL... Glam it up right?

I used  the hearts PAP set by Martha Stewart from last year's line, the Stampin' Up! paper piercer template set, and some left over cardstock from other projects. I wrote the hand written sentiment but I think I better work on my  penmanship! LOL maybe it's because I made ( & colored) a ton of cards and my hand is a bit sore... LOL ok ok .. maybe I just  have sloppy handwriting..=P

I sometimes try to break out of my personal card making style but OMG it is so hard!

For this card I kept it clean and simple ( well it is for me anyway) so I hope you will forgive my feeble attempts Hahaha...  

I tried.. it is ok... but not my favorite card ever... LOL..

I used kit kat digi stamp from the Digi's with Attitude! Store.

I played around & drew on  some extra tuffs of hair to her tail & head...( see the orginal to compare)  because I was going to use a cute digi sentiment from DWA but at the last minute changed my mind. I had this one already printed and it fit perfectly! Glad when those little things work out the right way!

I used a stapler to adhear the cardstock topper and sentiments together. made the flower with 2 scallop puncheds and some tulle , used  Martha Stewart Swirly lace punch, Copic & Prisma markers.

 Had a blast making this card.  I think it turned out pretty good.

Paper Piecing Digital Stamps Tutorial.

Hi guys!

I did this Tutorial for MyGrafico on Tuesday & I wanted to share!

=D

If you're like me.. you want to learn the latest Techniques,

& Learn how to use those New Gadgets that are out there.

So I hope this will help you all and ourselves learn  Lots of new things!

Today's tutorial  is a quick and simple photo tutorial on how to paper piece your

 Digital stamped images for a twist to your digi images!

Paper piecing with Digital Stamps
(similar to the masking technique in traditional stamping)

Here is what I used for this Tutorial

The Dilek designs Chic girl stamp set 1

 The First thing to do is to choose the stamp your using on your computer

Next

you will need to tape your paper to the cardstock

(You can either "eyeball" where you  need to add it or print a test sheet then tap over that)

Once you have taped the paper down to your cardstock then print

2 times for every one final image you want.

Next you will need to cut your images apart

( I do this before I remove the pattern paper since sometime the tape rips the cardstock)

Next separate the pattern paper from the cardstock &

then cut your image pieces  out.

next you should color your image in then

 glue your pattern paper to the image you printed to the card stock

for your final result.

I made some really cute bookmarks. I used my markers to color in the belts and straps after 

I glued them on.

Today we are going to show you so really fabulous sets.

I am  in  love with them  they are sooo cute!

 First off is the  Ultra Sexy 

Ooh La La SVG set by  Lindsay's Stamp Stuff

it has a printable file as well as SVG so you can also cut it out by hand

  for those of you who want to make the impact but don't want to buy a Diecut machine like a cricut.

I have a cricut but cut it out by hand &  it was super easy!

Next since we were on the sexy bend...

We thought these Corset Digital Stamps By Blackleaf Design Studio

would fit in perfect. ;)

I am going to  make a bunch of these cards with both of theses sets

 They are going to extra sexy Valentines day cards for my sweetie!

 I made these at this weekends MyGrafico Birthday Party.
I cut them out by hand even though I have a cricut because I wanted to see how easy/hard it was to do.
verdict : Easy! =D

The Bra or Bikini top card

&

 the Undies or Bikini bottom card

I used Stickles, micro beads, a heart charm , foil heart confetti to embellish.

I used my Paper piercing tool to make the stiches along the edges,

 then followed them with a black micro pen.

 I like how they turned out I have some more ideas for my next ones...

so you will see this design again!

I had some major computer issues so I have MIA for about a month now... totally sucks but I am ready to get crafty and have a whole bunch  of new ideas  I can't wait to try  and share with you all...
 My New Years Resolutions for 2011....
1) Remember that I am Important just  like everyone else... and start making myself a priority. ( Like most  people this  means  Yup you  guessed it working out more, a makeover, and  not putting the kids first all the time.)
2) start the 365 project... one of my Mommy friends does it and I love her albums... I think it is a great "IDEA" ( if I can stick to it IDK...=D )
3) To get more scrapbook Albums pages done....  I would love to get say 4 pages a week done but that  is a lot.. LOL... maybe shoot for the 4 but not beat myself up if I only get 2 done! heck who  am I kidding.... 1 ... I will do 1 scrapbook page a week... ( then I can give myself a pat on the back if I get more done! Yay.. works for me...
4) try  more techniques....  I don't know about you but I love learning new techniques  now I'm actually  going to  do them...  hahaha...

So what did I make your wondering... LOL

here it is!

Ughhhhhh! I can't turn them! LOL Sorry! 

 

I used some liquid ink in a spray bottle  to add the spritzs of blue,

then added some stickles in red in random spots, and then took crystal stickles and

made some swirls from the bottom corner... also added the lets  party sentiment stamp.

 Stickled the dress and shoes for that  party dress sparkle.

Next I took  my white gel pen and  drew some lines and dots then took  glue

and dotted between the lines  added some mico beads.

I think it  looks exactly  how I was envisoning very 80's and  fun.

Hello Again!
So my computer is still in the shop so I didn't get to  make my project for this week , Hopefully I will get it soon because I sure do miss my computer!

I want to thank everyone who enters the Mygrafico Challenges each week...  it is hard right now to get much done with no computer but keep playing and you all will reap the rewards! We love you all at MyGrafico Challenges and want you to enjoy yourself and have fun!

This set has several beautiful and classic  images like a reindeer, bells, ornaments, sleigh, holly leaves, &  of course a Tree.

We also used the Digital  paper set  by a Newcomer to Mygrafico Jazzy Patterns "Let it Snow"

I just  love they style and  beautiful detail of these snowflakes...
